Hello,
I’m similarly screwed…but I don’t live in Korea, so my frustration at getting any kind of “service” done to my phone is amplified greatly by the lack of communication.
My problem is this: I work at a University that has a corporate WiFi network available to all students and faculty. That WiFi network uses WPA Enterprise protocol, but the firmware only supports WEP, WPA Personal, and WPA2 Personal.
Any advice on how to add WPA Enterprise and WPA2 Enterprise to that list so that my “Eve” will recognize the campus WiFi network?
Just curious,
Jed
As far as i know it’s a problem for more then android and for more then Eve.
In my work place we aso have a WIFI net that is based on a protocol that is not supported by Android, in our case the issue was solved easily by replacing the protocol.
The protocol stack for the supported wifi security is eihter rooted in the linux kernel of the android env. or in some .so related to the wifi module.
I believe that you eitherneed to persuade LG to add the support for the protocol you need or u’ll have to add it yourself.
Since it’s eve and not some HTC android device, it renders pretty much impossible…
